On their annual senior night, LSU made a spectacular finish to its regular season with a victory over Kentucky last night. The team left the crowd of 14,044 fans inside PMAC in awe as they sealed a 77-56 win against Kentucky. This victory marked the culmination of their eight-game winning streak, which is a testament to their consistent and stellar performance this season.
Stepping up to the occasion, Angel Reese dominated the game with her 20th double-double of the season, contributing significantly to LSU's victory. Reese, with her impressive 22 points and 14 rebounds, kept the audience on the edge of their seats.
Reflect on her journey, Reese said, “I want to leave my legacy as somebody that was just unapologetically me. Being able to just come in every day, be happy, work hard and do whatever it takes to win. I mean, I feel like I made a lot of sacrifices coming here, not really knowing what it was going to be like, taking a step of faith.”
