Baltimore-native and LSU basketball sensation, Angel Reese, has been selected by Major League Baseball (MLB) to throw the ceremonial first pitch at Tuesday's Orioles game, according to an announcement made by the league on Friday.

Reese, who made waves in March with her stellar performance in the NCAA Women's Tournament, has been capturing the attention of fans and media alike. In a historic feat, she became the first player since 2000 to achieve 25 points, 20 rebounds, and five blocks in a single game.

However, Reese's visit to Baltimore doesn't stop at the baseball field. On Monday, July 17, she will be making a special appearance at the DTLR store located in the Northwood shopping center. This event serves as a celebration of her new partnership with the popular lifestyle retailer.

The meet and greet event will take place from 5-7 p.m., giving fans an opportunity to meet the basketball prodigy in person. Additionally, attendees will have the chance to purchase exclusive Bayou Barbie t-shirts, with all proceeds going towards Reese's foundation. The foundation aims to support women's basketball at her alma mater, St. Francis High School, located in her hometown of Baltimore.

Don't miss this incredible opportunity to meet Angel Reese, witness her throw the ceremonial first pitch, and contribute to a great cause. Join us at the Orioles game on Tuesday and the DTLR store on Monday. Let's show our support for this remarkable athlete and her commitment to empowering women in sports.
