It was a spectacular display of skill and tenacity on last week as Angel Reese delivered an electrifying performance that led No. 13 LSU to its fifth consecutive victory. Reese, with her 25 points and a 20 rebounds, landed her 17th double-double of the season, further cementing her as a rising star in the basketball world.
Despite a strong performance by Auburn, LSU held on to their lead. Reese recorded her sixth career game with 25 points and 20 rebounds.
With a current record of 23-4, 10-3 SEC, LSU continues to ride high on their winning streak. LSU started the second quarter with just 2 of 8 shots before making 6 of 8. Reese had 11 points and nine rebounds in the first half. She then added another 10 points in the third quarter, going 6 of 7 from the free-throw line, to help LSU secure a lead of 58-49.
Angel has consistently delivered high-impact performances. LSU also beat Tennessee this past Sunday with a 75-60 win, and will take on Georgia this Thursday night.
