Angel Reese

Angel Reese, the talented forward from LSU, has quickly risen to stardom after securing the national championship title. However, Reese isn't just focused on her own success; she's using her newfound star status to support the next generation.

Recently, Reese made a generous donation of $12,000 to her former high school, St. Frances Academy in Baltimore. This donation will cover the tuition expenses for a member of the school's girls basketball team. Reese's mother revealed that Angel herself had benefited from a similar donation during her four years at St. Frances, and now she wants to pay it forward.

Back in her senior year at St. Frances, Reese was already a standout player and was ranked among the top five recruits in the class of 2020. This prestigious group also included basketball sensations Paige Bueckers, Caitlin Clark, and Hailey Van Lith.

Following her remarkable performance as the Most Outstanding Player in the women's Final Four this year, Reese's estimated NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) evaluation skyrocketed to over $1 million. This increase in value was largely due to the numerous endorsement deals she secured. Notably, she became one of the first seven college athletes to sign a deal with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's new energy drink, ZOA.

Despite her newfound popularity and financial success, Angel Reese is committed to giving back and growing women's basketball. She believes that supporting her high school alma mater is a crucial step in achieving this goal.

Angel Reese's generosity and dedication to her community serve as an inspiration to both aspiring athletes and women's basketball enthusiasts alike. As she continues to make her mark in the sports world, Reese remains grounded and focused on making a positive impact on the next generation of athletes.
